I find the profound creative process is a portal into the reality that everything is energy, vibration, frequency and that all things are connected.
Through textures, color patterns and imagery I love to discover
revelations from Universal Knowledge.
ART AS ORACLE
I often begin with a freedom of color and textures with nothing in particular in mind. At this stage the joy and sometimes the challenge is to continue without judgement as I watch colors mix and patterns unfold. Inevitably I find myself fascinated with the forms, figures, angels, animals and scenes emerging from the colors and patterns. The piece then becomes an adventure of discovery on a new level. It becomes clear that the images are profound messages or guidance, inspiration or information. These are often familiar visions arising from deep in the subconscious or even images of ancestors or angels that guide or inspire. I don’t try to “read” it but simply observe and continue to paint until I have to stop. It’s likely that I’d continue in another painting session or possibly many over time until I’ve come to a place where I feel I can let it go and consider it as complete enough. It’s never really “finished” as it can continue to reveal new images and inspiration each time I look into it. I consider these paintings an “oracle” which evoke some recognition or insight from within the viewer.
I feel such exhilaration as I witness entire scenes emerge.
