Launching My New Website

I’m so very pleased and excited to welcome you to my new and improved website and blog!

I’ve been feeling “the call” so strongly as I am filled with desire to share about Life, Art and the Journey we all share. My desire is to share the reality that “Life IS the Art”, that we are Nature and not separate from it and that all things are connected in the Universe. This can serve as a basis of inspiration and a reminder to find this moment of stillness within, where we recognize our Self in the pure energy that is Life and the center from which all things emerge.

Beginning a painting is a journey that to me is like Life each day. We begin with a new possibility, a sacred journey and a new opportunity. Generally it can be both exciting and a bit frightening as we enter the unknown. Once the colors and texture is begun it’s invigorating and suddenly you feel like you can fly....until...the mind comes in and the “judger”, our ego or conditioning chimes in with doubt and fear. In order to move forward there’s a choice once again....to keep going! A new layer of experience where information, experience, new colors mix, learning happens. There are so many amazing layers and opportunities to discover in each courageous endeavor into a new canvas. Often my paintings are layered with imagery and if one can be still and peer inside the layers there may be a journey to discover by gleaning from your own perceptions and perspective.
                         This is the journey inside The Journey...a holograph of time and space.

We all have gifts and talents...we are multi faceted and layered. I love to encourage the step towards whatever lights you up. You are in the right “place” when you follow your Inspiration and from my experience Life, the Universe will provide all that you need in order to use your Gifts & Talents and this creates a perfect and natural cycle as in nature. The seed is planted and nurtured with sunshine and water. It grows and bears fruit which nourishes growth and on it goes...the perfection of Nature....is what we are. On that note....please feel free to reserve your space at any of my upcoming Art & Creativity Session! Whether a class for a couple of hours or an all day workshop....you’ll enjoy exploring your creativity through painting here with me in the beautiful Redwood Forest.
